One of England's best theme parks, Thorpe Park has something for all the family and is easily reached by coach or car from Sunbury Court. The park is broken into various sections which include exciting rollercoaster rides for all ranges of children, a railway, a waterway, 4D Pirates and a farmyard. The biggest attraction this year is the Tidal Wave ride which is big-time scarey.
Tidal Wave - Europe's highest water ride - sets an awesomely wet new standard for white knuckle rides in Europe. The action takes place in a spectacularly themed New England fishing village which has been devastated by a huge wall of water and is about to experience a freak second hit... Riders, waiting to be evacuated from the disaster scene, will 'live through' the experience of a mega wave strike that'll plunge them a heart-pumping and buttock clenching, 85ft through the water!!!
Thorpe Farm is a 1930s traditional working farmyard where children can see, and safely touch, many different breeds of sheep, pigs, cows and goats.
Canada Creek - boasts the exciting Logger's Leap and Calgary Stampede rides. For younger adventurers there's Rocky Express and Trapper's Trail, and there's a train to catch at Canada Creek Railway Station.
A blue and yellow 'old west' style locomotive, with a traditional tender and cowcatcher, provides transport on The Canada Creek Railway. Trains shuttle to and from Thorpe Farm, taking a scenic trip through the Rockies at Canada Creek.
Neptunes Kingdom - Stretching from the Entrance Bridge to Amity Cove, Neptune's Kingdom is fun for all the family. The zone's numerous attractions include, Depth Charge, Wet! Wet! Wet!, and more.
Ranger County - Set in a tropical Afircan Bush, Ranger County has rides including: Chief Ranger's Carousel, Mr Monkey's Banana Ride and Miss Hippo's Fungle Safari.
Central Park - At the centre of the park lies a mix of exciting rides and relaxing experiences. Here you can find everything from the "sense-sational" Pirates 4-D to the white waters of Thunder River.
